A local leading organization is currently seeking experienced Fine Dining Servers in St. Helena, Oakville, and Geyserville, CA to support a flexible on-going opportunity. Knowledge of wine pouring and wine pairing is a must. Candidates must be able to work in a cooperative spirit along with an existing group of dynamic staff members. We are looking for candidates who, in addition to having experience in fine dining, are committed to customer service and gracious hospitality. A thorough knowledge of fine dining and wine service is required. Exude an outstanding customer service attitude that exceeds expectations at every point of guest experience.

Responsibilities for Fine Dining Server candidates are:

* Provide food and wine service in a professional and courteous manner

* Ensure guest satisfaction during all aspects of a fine dining experience

* Knowledgeable about the flow and communication of food service

* Knowledge of high end food and wine service is a must

* Present warm and gracious positive and professional demeanor

* Detail station according to standard

* Able to anticipate and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely manner

* Follow directions of lead server or hospitality manager



Qualifications for a Fine Dining Server include:

* Current CA Serv Safe or Food Handlers Card

* Current TIPS or RBS Certifcate, or ability to obtain before starting work

* High School Diploma or GED is required; college experience preferred

* Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day

* Must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays and weather conditions

* Must be able to lift, move, and stack up to 50 pounds

* Variety of mandatory attire includes white & black shirts, khaki and black dress pants, and black shoes



Skill requirements and certifications for a Fine Dining Server are:

* Minimum 2+ years experience Fine Dining Serving experience

* Minimum 2+ years experience Formal table set-up/ table setting

* Minimum 2+ years experience wine pouring and wine pairing

* Minimum 2+ years experience clean up and break down for lunch, dinner and special events

* Proof of current Food Handler/SafeServ Certification



Pay for this position is $15.00 to $18.00/hr and will be based on level of experience. This is a temporary on-going opportunity.
