Job Responsibilities Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic evaluation, including embedding, cutting, and staining. Follow established quality control, safety, and infection prevention protocols. Operate and maintain histology lab equipment; troubleshoot minor technical issues as needed. Ensure timely documentation and proper labeling of samples. Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory and supply levels. Collaborate with internal lab staff, clinical teams, and external partners to support smooth operations. Participate in lab-based training, process improvement efforts, and educational activities. Demonstrate histology techniques and best practices to students or new team members as needed.
