Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 4301 West Markham Street Little Rock, AR We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00am - 4:30pm CST , Monday - Friday. Primary Responsibilities: - Interviewing clients in a hospital setting
- Completing and processing financial assistance applications
- May be responsibility for maintaining ongoing communications with hospital employees and patients.
- Provide updates and assistance to hospital personnel and other staff as needed.
- Maintain documentation of status of applications and client contact on the UAMS computer system/Epic
- Staffing phones in peak times to assist patients with questions and concerns.
- Knowledge of financial assistance policies and procedures for UAMS
- Maintain a work queue within Epic
- Responsible for internal reporting
- Ability to float to different work queues if needed.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while in the hospital setting. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma / GED
- Customer service experience
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work full-time Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 4:30pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
