You are: The onsite Group Account Director leads the end-to-end account management focusing on managing and growing the client business while ensuring the delivery of quality services that meet client and Accenture's new business objectives. The Account Director serves as a strategic partner to the client by ensuring the execution of the client's vision and tone. Must be a self-starter, well organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The work: - Full ownership of assigned account client relationship
- Ensure overall client satisfaction and health of the business, acting as the primary point of contact for clients/partners and brand, and spearheading strategic initiatives to drive client business growth
- Own the development of the annual account plan in alignment with Account Leadership targets and client's business objectives
- Focus on client trust and broadening of stature within the clients' organization
- Serve as the subject matter expert by having a clear understanding of client's business and industry
- Be capable of explaining & presenting the offerings and capabilities of the company
- This will be essential when mining for incremental business opportunities with existing clients and for pitching new potential clients.
- Research and present competitive research to show best-in-class examples to include industry trends and innovation to inspire client and internal creative teams
- Lead and provide POV to the account and creative teams with all client initiatives to ensure client strategy and objectives are met
- Plan and estimate simple to highly complex projects and/or develop long-term retainer contracts
- Maintain and leverage skills at developing, monitoring, and managing against budgets, showcasing an understanding of cost estimating and properly pricing a program/production within budget constraints, while remaining committed to delivering the company's profitability
- Work directly with the creative and production operations teams to develop strategy and messaging that deliver high-level creative solutions to meet client business objectives and goals
- Manage teams on multiple programs/projects simultaneously while meeting all deliverable deadlines
- Responsible for organic account growth and retention, uncovering new opportunities for expansion of scope
- Translate marketing objectives into creative strategies, presenting creative executions and digital strategies to client
- Partner with Delivery Lead to solution against client objectives, communicate account challenges or issues, and ensure overall client expectations are being met
- Assist in contract negotiation for a statement of work that outlines terms and pricing
- As needed, partner with creative agency teams to develop a creative strategy around client marketing objectives
- Provide regular updates and partnership with Accenture Account Leadership to manage client relationships
Here's what you'll need: - At least 5 years of direct account management experience as an Account Supervisor or above, preferably in an advertising, marketing, or digital services firm
- At least 5 years of experience leading medium to large consumer accounts
