Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Cottonwood, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,032 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ER Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 Years License: Active, unrestricted RN License or valid compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: Willingness to float to other emergency departments Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment providing high-quality care. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in an emergency department setting. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend shifts are required, typically every other weekend. Active, unrestricted RN license is a prerequisite for this role. Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support is required. Trauma Nurse Core Course certification is preferred. The role involves patient care for a mixed demographic, including pediatrics and geriatrics. The emergency department handles a variety of patient diagnoses and offers services for trauma and behavioral health. Nurse-to-patient ratios during shifts are typically 1:5. Staff will be supported by various interdisciplinary services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
