In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our hotel's facilities and operations, ensuring that all aspects of hotel maintenance are executed smoothly and efficiently. This position balances hands-on maintenance duties with supervisory responsibilities, promoting Marriott’s ethos of hospitality in every task. Perform routine and preventative maintenance of hotel facilities, including mechanical systems, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and structural elements. Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency situations. Assist in the administration of maintenance inventory and procurement. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines. Document all maintenance activities and generate reports on efficiency and repairs. Supervise junior engineering staff and provide on-the-job training. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure cohesion and guest satisfaction. Proficient in handling and maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Effective communication and leadership abilities. Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and energy management.
