The Pool Technician/Operator is a key member of our Engineering team and will care for hotel water features and manage water balance. This role is responsible for the following duties:

• Care for hotel water features and manager pool water chemical balance to meet Health Code standards.
• Add chemicals as needed to maintain proper water conditions
• Vacuum, skim, and brush pools
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Replace lighting in underwater fixtures
• Repair and fit piping for pool equipment
• Maintain, service, and repair or replace pool pumps, filters, and heaters
• Maintain and manage inventory and supplies
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance
• Follow all property safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store materials
• Perform other tasks as needed

    Qualifications:
    
    • 1 years of direct experience repairing pool equipment and balancing chemicals
    • Current CPO (certified pool operator) certification preferred.
    • Strong customer service skills are also required.
    • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Ability to m ove up and down stairs, ramps, and/or ladders.
