Role and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ** Starting rate: $21.50 per hour, majority of shifts start at 3:00 am. The mid-level Pastry Cook is responsible for supporting the resort's overall culinary vision in all aspects of desserts and baking. This position will plan, prep, set up and prepare consistent quality products in all areas of the Pastry Shop to include, but not limited to, pastries, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, creams, etc., in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications. Previous experience in pastry banquet and outlet production including prep, executing menu set up for parties, garnishing and finishing desserts by set time. Works in a clean and organized manner and conduct his or herself in a positive professional manner.
