Job SummaryYou will be a hands-on front-line people leader in support of a fast-paced operation to deliver diagnostic products and ensure continuous quality, schedule adherence and efficient production. You will be a member of the Operations Extended Leadership Team interfacing with other Operations Extended Leadership Team members to deliver on goals and/or collaborate to drive business strategy. You will operate per internal and external quality and safety requirements and work with area leadership to evaluate production process data and drive continuous improvement cross functionally to achieve operational KPIs.The Opportunity - Leads and empowers direct reports or teams; provides coaching, training and opportunities to develop skills, and gives ongoing, constructive and timely feedback on performance and progress toward goals and expectations.
- Identifies scheduling conflicts, production issues and equipment maintenance needs and collaborates with support functions for resolution.
- Coordinates with process lead for resource management
- Responsible for production factory adherence and maintains a thorough understanding of end-to-end production processes.
- Sets goals and aligns deliverables for shifts and processes and reports out misses to daily, weekly and monthly goals and implements corrective actions.
- Creates a lean culture by empowering the workforce to provide and implement ideas to continuously improve and reduce waste while acting as a change agent to drive a culture of continuous improvement by actively demonstrating the use of lean manufacturing tools in everything the team does.
- Collaborates with peers in other shifts/functions and support functions to drive value stream, lean manufacturing improvement and global projects/ initiatives.Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years of relevant experience in production, manufacturing, supply chain or related field, of which 2 years include process, people or project leader experiencePreferred
