Global Social Media Brand Strategist-Remote - Phoenix Arizona

About the Role: We are looking for a Global Social Media Brand Strategist to join the Global Brand team where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing how and where we communicate our Brand promise of Together, Improving Life , throughout the globe. Your responsibilities will focus on developing a comprehensive and actionable overarching content strategy, with a strong focus on social media, for the Gore Medical Brand. You will work collaboratively and cross functionally with our commercial marketing, events and market research teams to build content & social strategies for our owned Brand channels, with an emphasis on our website and social media, ensuring that both internal and external needs are reflected in the creation of strong, quality content. This position requires a strategic mindset, customer focus, excellent collaboration and communication skills and a strong passion for advancing the Gore and Gore Medical Brand.

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Align Gore's social media efforts with broader business objectives
  • Concentrate on building a strong and consistent brand presence, defining key messages, and determining the overall approach to content creation and engagement
  • Oversight of social media account content, facilitation of posting, audience engagement and customer service. Including but not limited to LinkedIn, YouTube, and potentially X
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to ensure the alignment and impact of global Brand content and social media strategies
  • Work with Digital Strategists to create and maintain a comprehensive paid social media editorial calendar that thoughtfully coordinates organic and paid efforts in tandem. Manage the creation of content to fill our owned social media calendar, work cross-functionally to create and execute on ideas that will advance and expand our social media strategy and efforts.   • Ensure the infusion of our Brand content social strategy across owned channels, including our website, event communications, social media, online education, etc
  • Possess a broad skill set related to strategic content development including, but not limited to: top-line planning, managing detailed execution, developing corporative narrative frameworks, supporting storytelling and messaging, etc
  • I nspire, influence, and guide cross-functional teams responsible for creation of content, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving Brand objectives while delivering an exceptional customer experience, more specifically on social media channels, our website, and event communications
  • Build our website homepage content strategy in close partnership with the web and communications teams; maintain, contribute to, and oversee homepage content; work with stakeholders to develop content strategy, editorial calendar and governance for the ongoing maintenance, ensuring the integrity of its page architecture and effectiveness
  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our social and brand content strategy and make data-driven adjustments for continuous improvement, tracking both micro (near-term) and macro (long-term) performance

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading and executing broad content or social media strategy within the medical device or healthcare industry
    • Minimum of 5 years experience leading projects, programs, and/or cross-functional teams within the brand and social media realms
    • Proven aptitude in influence management, strategic thinking, and problem solving
    • Strong strategic thinking, writing and planning skills with a proven ability to align initiatives with broader business objectives
    • Effective presentation and communication skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical teams, as well as with other cultures and geographies
    • Proven ability to learn new skills and translate them into strategy development and action
    • Ability to travel up to 25%

      Desired Qualifications:
      • Exceptional skills in aligning diverse stakeholders (e.g., MLR review) and fostering collaboration for successful execution of business plans and initiatives.

        Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
