Facilities Supervisor - Phoenix Arizona

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial facilities throughout the Arizona facilities. They are to ensure all repairs are documented and inspected for quality of craftsmanship and document the needs for each Arizona location, distributing the workload amongst the building maintenance team. They will also support training of level I, level II, and level III technicians.Essential Duties: Below are the various repairs the Facility Supervisor will review and inspect for overall safety compliance, Osha/EPA standards, as well as local municipalities.Dismantle machines and/or equipment and replace defective parts and motorsClean and lubricate machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearingsReplace or repair machine beltsRemove dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machinesPaint machines, equipment or building structures to prevent corrosionBend and cut conduit and wire and drills holes in walls, floors, and ceilings for electrical connectionsBend, cut, and thread pipe, cut openings in walls, ceilings, and floors for pipes, and seal pipe joints with sealing compoundConnect wires to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipmentReplace switches and fuses and splice and insulate wire with appropriate materialCut out and join parts for worktables, benches, shelves, and other furnishingsPatch or replace plaster or plaster board and paint walls, ceilings, and trim of buildingClear clogged drains and replace plumbing fixturesOperate welding machine to repair or join metal partsRepair or replace damaged racksCleans work areas, tools, and equipmentReport all malfunctions on equipment and safety issues and/or unsafe practices immediatelyOther duties as assigned.Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.Physical Demands:Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 poundsFrequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 100 poundsRegularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controlsRegularly reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawlCorporate Summary: At Shamrock Foods Company, people come first
