Job Title:Digital Product/Experience OwnerLocation:Block 23What you'll do:The Digital Product and Experience Owner supports reimagining the way we do business; creating value by harnessing design and technology to drive innovative experiences. The Digital Product and Experience Owner will provide direction to teams, create and groom user stories, and drive closure of new features. As well as be responsible for translating requirements, using project management methodology, into working features and functionality through conversation with risk, compliance, operations, and technology and be able to translate vendor road maps into applicability and impact to the business from a process and people perspective. The Digital Product and Experience Owner will be assisting the Development and QA team in reviews and make sure all requirements are addressed and updated. Must have the ability to define functional and non-functional product requirements; ensure completeness; integral and consistent; source of requirements for product team. Defines and ensures appropriate testing frameworks for product features (e.g., market testing, functional performance, etc.) Inspect and evaluate product progress through each iteration. The Digital Product and Experience Owner will work with the business and Subject Matter Experts to refine, accept, and prioritizes stories, features or epics to support effective and compliant solutions while balancing investment and business value.What we are looking for: Responsibilities: - Provide direction to scrum teams, create and groom user stories, and drive closure of new features.
- Translates requirements, using project management methodology, into working features and functionality through conversation with risk, compliance, operations and technology.
- Translates in both directions the capabilities and limitations of the finished product back to business line.
- Translates vendor road maps into applicability and impact to the business from a process and people perspective.
- Assist the Development and QA team in reviews and make sure all requirements are addressed and updated.
- Defines functional and non-functional product requirements; ensure completeness; integral and consistent; source of requirements for product team. Creates and validate user story acceptance criteria. Defines and ensures appropriate testing frameworks for product features (e.g., market testing, functional performance, etc.) Inspect and evaluate product progress through each iteration.
- Work with business and Subject Matter Experts to refine, accept, and prioritizes stories, features or epics to support effective and compliant solutions while balancing investment and business value.
- Own and maintains a prioritized work backlog for a single or multiple Agile teams or program. Product backlog includes complete user stories or features with acceptance criteria so that they are consumable and testable by the Agile team or program. Reviews and accepts output of I/T and/or business development to ensure specified acceptance criteria have been completed.
- Builds a culture of accountability and ownership by empowering the product team to make decisions as close to the work as possible. Manage dependencies with other team's functions while identifying, building, and managing strategic partnership across different product teamsQualifications
- Product Management and Business Analyst skills: Prioritization, discovery, analytics, negotiation, facilitation, and research.
- Experience with the Agile development process and a clear understanding of the digital product development lifecycle.
- Experience in product discovery, design thinking, lean startup, design sprint, and/or other innovation frameworks.
- Bias toward action and willingness to make commitments and trade-offs with other leaders to remove impediments for your team; you are a leader obsessed with delivering value quickly.
