Job Title:Deposit Operations Support Associate DirectorLocation:CityScapeWhat you'll do:As a Deposit Operations Support Associate Director of Production you will be responsible for supporting the oversight of critical deposit operations back office processing; leading a team of 3-5 managers and 20+ support specialists. Reporting to the Deposit Operations Group Director, you will be instrumental in supporting and/or leading projects that further the strategic roadmap of the Bank as it relates to deposit and branch operations. You are considered a key change agent and will need to possess skills and qualities of flexibility, prioritization, accountability/responsibility, and effective listening.Supported by the knowledge of your team, you serve as a subject matter expert for all areas related to the operational aspects of deposit products and services. Your teams are currently responsible for exception processing, periodic review of clients' TM service eligibility, IDS and CDARS setup, maintenance, and transactions, and other operational activities as may be determined.What we are looking for: - Lead and manage a team of 3-5 deposit and banking operations managers:
- Ensure efficient processing of day-to-day activities, remove roadblocks, and facilitate collaboration between functions
- Ensure appropriate prioritization and delegation of workload
- Ensure adequate cross training and succession for key processes
- Provide effective real-time feedback on performance
- Engage in career planning and succession planning
- Lead and/or support multiple applicable operations projects and improvement initiatives: Evaluate current state of manual or inefficient processes, and develop future state.
- Socialize and secure support from peers and executive management
- Follow effective project planning, i.e., formal project documentation, appropriate socialization and communication, adequate cost/benefit analysis, engagement of key stakeholders, timely status updates, etc.
- Create and/or maintain function specific governance documentation, to include: Procedures, desktop guides, job aides, system guides, etc. Risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) Access reviews and Business continuity plans.
- Develop and/or maintain reporting and key performance/risk indicator dashboards with application of business intelligence and analysis
- Lead and support other special projects as assigned by the Director or Chief Banking Operations OfficerWhat you need to have:
