Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide services in a K-12 school setting in Big Lake, AK. The position is a contract assignment for the current school year (CSY) with onsite work requiredno virtual or teletherapy options available. Location Big Lake, Alaska K-12 School environment Position Details Full-time, 40 hours per week (8.5 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) Approximately 2 school caseloads with an average of 47 students, primarily in elementary schools Contract duration: ASAP through May 22, 2026 Qualifications Certification and licensure valid for the state of Alaska is required Holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLP candidates Experience in school-based speech-language pathology or assisting in schools (SLP or SLPA) Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and collaborate with educators and families Responsibilities Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy to students in K-12 settings Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams Monitor student progress and document treatment outcomes Maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations This role offers an engaging work environment supporting students communication development within the school setting.
