Job Title Electronic Technician Maintenance IJob Type Full-Time Location Fort Wainwright, AK, US 99703Career Level Entry Level Contract ATMP Travel Up to 50% Job Description The Electronic Technician Maintenance I position supports the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program (ATMP) contract at Fort Greely, AK. This position primarily supports DTA.Electronic Technician Maintenance I Job DutiesPerforms all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment.Applies advanced technical knowledge to troubleshoot and isolate electronic equipment faults that cannot be solved solely by referencing technical manuals.Performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.Collects data for multiple reports such as work orders, deadline reports, maintenance reports, loss reports, etc. which are required to be submitted on recurring basis.Captures and records accurate and timely maintenance history ensuring that unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into the AWARE Management Information System (MIS) and Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS).Ensures all unserviceable items are properly documented and delivered to the repair shop facility in a timely manner.Ensures all returned equipment is documented accurately in AWARE and IFS systems prior to equipment being placed back in service.Previous supervisor experience preferred.May interface with Army customers working at installations; contact company, government and outside agencies to resolve non-standard maintenance issues; and provide technical advice and advanced troubleshooting procedures within established guidelines and company responsibilities.Supports quality / ISO, security and safety training programs.Safeguards all assigned equipment issued by PULAU Corporation against loss, theft, and damage.Will be cross-trained to support other TADSS and may be assigned tasks to support other ATMP contract equipment on the installation, including ranges.Job Requirements Electronic Technician Maintenance I Job RequirementsPrefer minimum three years past experience with electronic equipment fault troubleshooting and repair.Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid state driver's license and maintain post/company driving privileges.Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Must be able to read and have advanced knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manufacturers' manuals and technical documents.Must be able to work outside including in inclement weather.Must be able to obtain a Government Common Access Card (CAC).Must be able to travel on temporary duty to other installations including OCONUS.Must be able to work occasional shift, night, weekend, or holiday hours in support of military training.High School Diploma or Equivalent.Must be able to obtain a DOT Health Certificate and certify as a non CDL DOT driver.Must be a U.S. citizen BENEFITSPULAU offers a comprehensive benefit package to employees that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, dependent health coverage, basic and supplemental life insurance, disability insurance and flexible spending accounts.
