Charlie's was founded in quality, and we are proud that it is still our focus.With a team of dedicated people who are passionate about food, supply chain, and their community we are looking for like minded individuals to help further our goal to enhance our communities through quality produce.--What we offer:An amazing company culture!Medical/Dental/Vision on the first of the month following hire.ESOP (Profit Sharing) and 401(k).Paid vacations, paid holidays.Pre-tax commuter benefits.Coverage under State Sick Leave.100% Prepaid College Tuition for employees and their dependents.Employee assistance program (EAP).Additional Compensation Details:Competitive wages - Dependent on ExperienceYearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenureResponsibilitiesThe Role--The sales support role will work as a liaison between the food service sales team and the warehouse operations group.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPosition requires performing any combination of the following job duties--Early morning walks through of warehouse, prior to sales team arrivingEarly check in with buyers, quick overview, or questions after walking through the warehouseUnderstanding concept of interworking's of warehouse #1, Warehouse #2 logistics, transfers, inventory, slotting, and inbound freight i.e. looking up PO'sFull understanding functions and execute functions of Retalix ,Bosanova and TableauWork with buyers/sales manager of products that are not movingWork with buyers "Max Quantity" on tight itemsImplement auto substitution like items when necessary for order fulfillmentWork with procurement, CSR and Food Service managers on allocation of tight itemsWork with buyers sourcing product/shorts to fill Food Service orders ie street buys, Costco, Franks etc.Monitor outbound orders of customers depleting inventory that would interfere filling orders for following day/day's businessWork with Franks so Warehouse #1 inventory is not depleted and allocate accordingly so they have coverage for their businessEnter Franks specialty request orders by 8:00am for purchasing to view through allocationWork with CSR and sales managers building a daily plan of short items or substitutions for nightly picks, communicate with the night crew teamDevelop a common ground sub/acceptable product list for all sales, ops support and CSRAssist with warehouse #1 SKU rationalizationWork with Food Service Specialty items and requests of salespeople/CSRAssist customer quality control issues with QC team in warehouse #1Work with ripening team for specific items required by sales that product is ripe, and slots are filled prior to picking, i.e. avocados, avocados etc.Assist dispatch throughout the day for order fulfilment of outbound order fulfillment and communicate with salespeople.Help train inside Sales team with product knowledge, set up displays, and samplesSpecial projects as assigned by the Department manager--QualificationsDesired Minimum QualificationsAt least 2 years of warehouse operations experience within Charlie's ProduceIn depth product and operations knowledgeIntermediate computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to prioritize projects and multi taskRestaurant experience preferredForklift and pallet jack experience preferredHear from Charlie's employeesSupplemental Information--This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
