Experience in aerosol therapy is essential. The therapist performs bedside pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gases. Knowledge of oxygen management and patient education is required. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including infants and geriatrics. The primary focus is on adult respiratory therapy, but the therapist will also work with pediatric intubated patients. The facility handles trauma cases and is an interventional stroke center. Experience with various respiratory equipment and procedures is preferred. Flexibility to float within the facility may be necessary.
