Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Columbus, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,830 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: PTA Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have a current license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance Description: Home visits are required for this position. There will be periodic office meetings. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license with agency-required liability insurance. The average number of patients seen per day is 5-6. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points. Each type of visit and activity, including documentation and travel, has a different point value. If contractors encounter low patient census, they may discuss options for additional hours with the management. Types of cases include Start of Care Follow Ups. First-time applicants are not accepted; recent Home Health experience is mandatory. Weekend requirements may vary depending on location and profession. On-call requirements also vary by job and location. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from their home base, with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Local candidates are accepted under the same conditions as travelers. Pending licenses are not accepted; candidates must have their license in hand. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of patient appointments. Declining patients may result in cancellation of employment. Candidates must be proficient in specified electronic medical record systems. All candidates must commit to meeting weekly productivity expectations.
