Doctor of Medicine | Geriatrics Location: Mobile, AL Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $250,000 per year Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Description Join a collaborative, team-based care environment supported by advanced practice professionals, pharmacists, care coordinators, behavioral health specialists, coders, and referral coordinators. This strong support system allows physicians to see fewer patients and focus on quality-driven, patient-centered care. Job Responsibilities • Evaluate and treat patients according to established standards of care • Coordinate specialty referrals, hospital/SNF transitions, DME, and home health services • Actively participate in daily team huddles • Support Lead Physician and Center Administrator in maintaining a cooperative work environment • Complete daily medical documentation with quality-based coder support • Follow clinical policies and protocols • Review quality outcomes and medical records with Lead Physician • Focus on direct patient care and related administrative duties Requirements • Graduate of accredited MD or DO program • Active and unrestricted state medical license (or willing to obtain) • Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABMS/AOA) in FM, IM, or Geriatrics • Active and unrestricted DEA license • Medicare & Medicaid Provider Numbers • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Commitment to team-based care model • Willingness to practice in value-based care setting • Basic computer & EMR skills More...
