Koch Foods is seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL Feed Haul Driver to join our dynamic team in the transportation & logistics department. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of feed supplies to our various poultry facilities across the region. As part of our commitment to excellence, you will play a key role in maintaining our operations' efficiency and supporting our goal of delivering high-quality poultry products to our customers. Safely operate a feed delivery truck within DOT regulations. Ensure timely delivery of feed to various company farms according to set schedules. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance reports according to federal and state regulations. Inspect vehicle before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues for repair to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Assist in loading and unloading of feed to ensure correct and careful handling of materials. Adhere to all biosecurity measures and procedures to prevent cross-contamination. Communicate effectively with logistics coordinators to improve delivery efficiency and address any route changes or delays. Proven ability to operate a commercial heavy vehicle. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent navigation ability and knowledge of local and regional roads. Capability to carry out physical tasks involved in loading and unloading goods. Basic maintenance knowledge of heavy vehicles. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Tanker endorsement may be required depending on job duties. More...
