Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - General Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - General Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours (20:00 - 06:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: None specified Must-Have: None specified Description: This position requires a dedicated ultrasound technologist to work in a general radiology setting. The work schedule consists of a block of Sunday through Wednesday nights. Every other weekend shift will be required. There is a possibility of floating within department assignments and sister campuses. Call requirements are variable; availability for nights and weekends may be needed. Travelers are expected to work major holidays, if scheduled. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Compliance is required for a timely start. Candidates must be available to complete required items and schedule labs promptly. References from two supervisory professionals are highly preferred. Candidates must have been away from the facility for one full year to return as a traveler. Flexibility regarding other locations, units, and shifts is expected.
