Whether you're looking to grow your leadership abilities while staying clinically engaged or are ready to mentor and guide other DVMs, this role offers a unique combination of clinical practice and operational leadership.Key Responsibilities:Champion Clinical Excellence: - See clients, perform procedures, and build your own clientele, dedicating 75-100% of your time to direct patient care.
- Offer hands-on clinical support, case consultations, and mentorship to DVMs, especially new graduates in surgery and dentistry.
- Drive process improvements to optimize hospital operations and enhance client satisfaction.Foster a Positive Veterinary Community:
- Cultivate a supportive work environment, collaborate with the Regional Director on operational and strategic initiatives.
- Engage in regional DVM recruitment, partnering with the Talent Relations team to attract top veterinary talent.
- Provide mentorship to new graduate DVMs, offering guidance and professional development.Drive Operational Success:
- Collaborate on improving hospital efficiency and scheduling processes.
- Manage hospital flow, staffing needs, and review performance data.
- Analyze performance metrics, assist with budgeting, and allocate resources efficiently.Ensure Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct hospital inspections to uphold quality patient care standards.
- Monitor regulatory compliance, including DEA logs, to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.What You'll Bring:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
- Active veterinary license in the state(s) of the assigned hospitals.
- 3-5 years of veterinary experience.
- DEA license registration (if required).
- Ability to travel occasionally (company-paid).
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including empathy, self-confidence, and a collaborative spirit.Time Allocation & Travel:This role is designed to be primarily clinical, with 75-100% of your time dedicated to direct patient care and clinical activities. The remaining time will be spent on administrative tasks such as mentoring, interviewing new veterinarians, compliance checks, and budget discussions. Regional travel is a requirement to effectively support hospitals within your assigned area.Work Schedule & Production Potential:
