Come build your career with us.BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) lead to support the Long Range Precision Guidance Kit (LR-PGK) Program. With facilities in Huntsville Al and Hudson NH, the successful candidate will plan, execute and manage a geographically distributed team during the implementation of system processes, conduct of System and Subsystem internal and field test events, development of test and tactical software and identification/allocation of new requirements for next generation advanced missile seekers.At BAE Systems, cultural and behavioral principles are a special part of our engineering organization, which means we are looking for team players who have demonstrated experience working successfully in group settings and will support our commitment to diversity and inclusion. - Significant experience with missile or smart munitions design, development, and fielding
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
- Must have experience as a systems engineer
- Must have experience leading technical teams
- Must be able to track progress on team tasks and report progress to program teamPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Hold an active Top Secret security clearance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in identifying and tracking technical risks
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Experience developing and flowing down requirements to testable modular hardware and software
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and other engineering disciplines
- HWIL or Systems Integration Lab development or operational experience
- The candidate should enjoy problem solving and have the ability to produce concrete results despite significant ambiguities in the problem space
- Comfortable in a lab setting working with a combination of both hardware and software
- Experience collaborating with design teams assessing threats, developing and quantifying operational level systems requirements, developing operational systems concepts, and assessing mission effectiveness in simulated environments
- Understanding any of the Electro-Optical Infra-Red (EOIR), Laser, and Radio Frequency (RF) domains
- Experience heading a FRB - Failure Review Board
- Experience with planning, conducting or contributing to FRACAS Events and resulting trade studies
- Exposure to technical performance measurements
- Experience in any of the following is a plus:
