Description Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talentedElectro-Mechanical Technician for the Product Integration Sectionto lead a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, we provide responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.We are seeking an experienced individual to work closely with a team of engineers and customers to design and build hardware to meet unique technical requirements. Selected candidate will bring a diverse set of skills and an aptitude for solving complex problems. You will interpret drawings and use critical thinking to build and fabricate production and prototype hardware.Basic QualificationsPossess a high school diploma or a GED and 3-5 years of applicable experience. Individual must also have an interest in fabrication of hardware, be mechanically inclined, and demonstrate a good work ethic and responsibility. This position requires good communication skills, working well on a team with diverse skillsets, working in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to take on a variety of duties to help the team be successful.Must have experience in the following areas:

• Reading schematic drawings and other manufacturing documentation.
• Experience building electrical and/or mechanical systems for DoD.
• Have IPC-WHMA-A-620 training or prove the ability to perform cable fabrication work.Candidate must be a resident of North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville-North Alabama area.Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.Original Posting Date:2024-04-25While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
