Under the leadership of the North American Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist will provide HR, Training, and Health & Safety support for the manufacturing facility. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for administration of policies and collective bargaining agreements, relevant reporting, as well as maintaining records and verification of payroll hours for employees. The Human Resources Generalist will lead all plant recruiting activities as well as employee engagement and appreciation events.Provide guidance, counsel, and assistance to managers and supervisors for employee grievances, attendance, and performanceAdministers hourly employee benefit plans and programsLeads the recruitment, selection, and onboarding for all plant production and support personnel ensuring headcount is aligned with budget and sales forecastEnsures health, safety, and environmental practices are adhered toPrepares various reports for Plant Manager and Upper-Level ManagementMonitors and maintains compliance with applicable Federal and State regulatory rulesMaintain employee records including, but not limited to, personnel data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance evaluations, and employment statusProcesses weekly payroll for employeesProcesses temporary employee timecards and submits to temporary agencyCreates and maintains plant communication systems (i.e. bulletin boards, announcements, etc.)Maintains the HRIS systemMonitors, verifies, updates and reports out on HR KPIs for facilityPerforms various tasks as assigned.Bilingual in SpanishPersonal integrity and the ability to foster consensusAbility to promote a strong, cooperative, capable, and creative cultureStrong computer skills, including HRIS experience, as well as Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Outlook)Working knowledge of HR principles and practices; experience in a Union environment preferredDetail oriented and precise with excellent organization skillsExceptional communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven record of ability to maintain the highest level of confidentialityAssociates Degree required, Bachelors Degree strongly preferred3-5 years of Experience as an HR Generalist or equivalent amount of experience and education#NEIND1by Jobble More...
