Communicate all findings to lead on floor such as parts being needed and other key components that require other department attention. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and identify problems. Write up on the repair order an accurate, clear, and detailed description of the cause of failure the repair procedure used.*What makes you a strong candidate for this position?* Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a minimum of one year experience working on diesel powered vehicles and equipment. Knowledge in Diesel Mechanics, certification is a preferred. Knowledge in using diagnostic programs. Strong mechanical and technical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
