As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will operate CT equipment, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services in a hospital environment.Schedule: 6:00am 2:00pm, must be available to be on call and work some holidays.Pay Rate: $30 - $40hrSign on Bonus: $10k paid out over time*Responsibilities:*1. *Perform CT Scans:* Conduct CT scans on patients using specialized equipment, following established protocols and physician orders. Ensure accurate positioning of patients and appropriate selection of imaging parameters for optimal image quality.2. *Operate CT Equipment:* Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols. Calibrate equipment, perform quality control checks, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.3. *Patient Care:* Provide compassionate care to patients undergoing CT scans. Explain procedures, address patient concerns, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Administer contrast agents as required, following established protocols.4. *Image Processing and Analysis:* Process and analyze CT images to ensure clarity and accuracy. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings, identify abnormalities, and assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.5. *Documentation and Recordkeeping:* Maintain detailed records of all CT procedures, including patient information, imaging parameters, and contrast administration. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies for documentation and recordkeeping.6. *Quality Assurance:* Participate in quality assurance activities to monitor and improve CT imaging services. Perform routine quality control checks, evaluate image quality, and implement corrective actions as needed. Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize patient and staff exposure.7. *Continuing Education:* Stay updated on advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.
