This position is required to float among our locations in North Austin including Harker Heights, Burnet, Marble Falls, and Georgetown. Urgently hiring! Other duties may be assigned.Provides front desk support and customer service satisfaction to patients in a courteous and professional manner in accordance with performance standardsAnswer telephone promptly and in a polite and professional mannerSchedules and registers patient appointments and follows established procedures:Remind patient to arrive 15 30 minutes before scheduled appointment to complete paperworkRemind patient of cancellation/no-show policyRemind the patient of items to bring to appoints: insurance card, medications, and office visit feeAccesses EHR to communicate to clinical staff members and/or providers telephone encounters using SBAR format and/or appropriate smart phrasesBalances cash sheet and cash drawer in accordance with established standardsOperates a multi-line telephone consoleExperience RequirementsMinimum one-year experience in customer service, preferably in a related clinical environmentEducation, Licensure & Certification RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalentAssociates degree or related healthcare certification, preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities RequirementsStrong attention to detail and accuracy, professional attitude, reliableAbility to handle confidential and sensitive informationAbility to communicate in an active multi-office environmentAbility to efficiently operate all job-related office equipmentAbility to follow or provide verbal and written instructionsAbility to relate to persons with diverse educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgroundsBasic to intermediate computer operationMathematical and/or analytical ability for basic to intermediate problem solvingSpecialty knowledge of systems relating to job functionSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilitiesby Jobble More...
