Responsibilities
Uses basic mechanics' tools; wrenches, ratchets, sockets, hack saw, tape measure, and screw driver - Performs basic operations of major pieces of plant equipment
- Uses basic mechanical skills to identify and correct minor mechanical issues with equipment
- Performs stick welding and uses cutting torch
- Understands and interprets basic drawings or sketches
- Uses basic electrical troubleshooting skills to identify and correct minor electrical issues with equipment
- Uses voltmeter to perform basic electrical troubleshooting
- Understands the basic principles of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Understands basic lubrication principles
- Understands and operates electric and LPG/Gas forklifts
- Correctly completes work order forms
- Correctly completes inventory forms
- Follow 5S and safety policies and procedures
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge, skills , experience: - A minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use job-appropriate tools
- Proficiency in investigating, deducing and recommending corrective actions for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems required.Education / Certifications:
