As Director of Engineering Product Development, you will lead and manage a team in the development of new foodservice products and equipment from concept to commercialization. In this role, you'll contribute to driving innovation, leading teams, project execution excellence, and delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs and contribute to MFT's growth and success.

We offer a hybrid work model: we collaborate in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The rest of the week, you have flexibility to work wherever it suits you best.

What You'll Do

• Lead the R&D Product Development team in executing the product development process from ideation through commercialization, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget across multiple R&D functions.
• Partnering with the Enterprise Project Management Office team, select and optimize R&D functional teams for product specifications, ensure they have the necessary resources to successfully complete projects, and hold the team accountable to timing and budget parameters.
• Collaborate with all engineering and other business functions, including manufacturing, marketing, and sales, to ensure that new products meet customer needs and are aligned with business objectives
• Partner with Product Management and to execute on product and technology roadmaps
• Ensure that all new products are designed to meet or exceed durability, reliability, and regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Develop, manage, and own the R&D Product Development department budget, ensuring efficient and effective resource and expense allocation

    • Bachelor's or Master's Engineering, Business, or related field
    • 10+ years of experience in technical product development or related field, with a track record of successfully launching new products to market
    • Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams
