Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.Duties:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and repairing machinery and equipment- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, utilizing your strong mechanical knowledge- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)- Fabricate or modify parts as needed using welding or other techniques- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to effectively troubleshoot and repair equipment- Supervise and provide guidance to junior maintenance staff when necessarySkills:- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining industrial machinery- Proficient in welding techniques for fabrication or repair purposes- Familiarity with logic controllers and their operation- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities- Leadership skills to effectively supervise junior maintenance staff- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and adherence to safety protocolsIf you are a skilled Maintenance Mechanic looking for a challenging role in facilities maintenance, we encourage you to apply.
