*LPN Correctional nurse needed in Sterling ,IL**Contract : 13 weeks**shift : 8& 12 Evening and Nights**Pay :$55/hr *Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of our patients while assisting with various medical procedures and treatments.Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns- Assist with patient assessments, including gathering medical history and performing physical examinations- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare techniques and self-care measures- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patientsQualifications:- Valid LPN license in IL- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures- Experience in inhale, toddler care, dementia care, patient assessment, primary care, triage, medical-surgical, or sonography is a plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsBenefits:- Competitive salary based on experience- Comprehensive health insurance coverageIf you are a dedicated LPN looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients, we encourage you to apply.
