An outpatient cancer treatment center, part of a local hospital is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
In Carterville, Illinois, explore the picturesque Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, known for birdwatching and hiking amidst scenic lakes and forests.
The position requires full-time availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a call rotation of 1 week in 6 and weekend coverage. The daily patient volume is expected to be around 15. Hospital privileges are required at all three local hospitals, with a typical privileging timeframe of 60-90 days. Full-time locums are needed either for full-time onsite coverage or a hybrid model combining onsite and telemedicine.
